Integrating the Internet into your Clinical Practice
A Hands-on Workshop on the Internet for Physicians
Bold School, Olivia, Minnesota
August 28, 1998

This page contains links to all the materials that were used in the two hands-on workshops and one box lunch Q&A.

Learning the Internet

This is the outline for a 3.5 hour hands-on session intended as an introduction to the Internet and building of basic Internet skills.  This material was not used in Olivia since all who had signed up for the beginner's class had also signed up for the intermediate class.  Instead a one-hour session on browser and e-mail basics was offered for those who wanted basic instruction.  This is a link to the material that had been used at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in November of 1997

Making the Internet a Clinical Resource

This is the outline for the 3.5 hour hands-on session intended to enhance existing knowledge of the Internet and refine existing Internet skills

Choosing the right tools

This page contains the handouts that were distributed at the Box lunch Q&A.   It provided pointers for selecting a personal computer and selecting an Internet Access Provider.
